I wanted to move forward with my latest project. I sat down to get some paint on the paper at the very least .. What started as an exercise ended up a finished painting. I was very pleased with this result. One problem. I skipped a crucial step in the process. Working out the details with the client. Although they liked this painting, it was not the style they had in mind. Nevertheless I was happy that I was able to get a painting done. And this gives me confidence to move forward.
Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeleteMost imaginative. With respect to the client, however...OOPS!
Keep movin' on, Kevin!
Sincerely,
Gary.
Thanks Gary. I took a little too much artistic license with the original request, but came away with a painting that I really enjoyed doing. The client wants something less detailed and more specific to the original idea they had.
DeleteWell, I really like this! I've been watching the SyFy channel Face Off where artists create creatures and such in a challenge and it reminds me of something I'd see someone mold and create there. This is very organic looking but also like he has a city on his head/in his mind - very cool!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely cool! Sorry the client did not go for it... it is fabulous!
